Big Enemy, Bigger God

Big enemy, bigger God
Big enemy, bigger God
Big enemy, bigger God
Big enemy, bigger God
When there's something out there that's bigger than you
(Remember) big enemy, bigger God
Big enemy, bigger God

The people of God, they'd done wrong
They fought and argued and cheated
So God sent an army to attack their land
And it looked like they'd be defeated
So they prayed for help, and God send Gideon
And right there and then
He put together an amazing bunch
Of thirty two thousand men (how many)
Thirty two thousand men

Then God said 'Your army's too big'
And some of the men went home
And again God said 'It's still too big'
And thousands more went home
How could they win with so few men
Gideon was quite scared
Then God said 'I'll help you win'
So three hundred men prepared (how many)
Three hundred men prepared

So Gideon gave everyone a trumpet
A sword, and a torch in a jar
Then they smashed their jars
And blew their trumpets
And their torches shone afar
'A sword for Gideon and for the Lord'
Shouted three hundred men as one
And the enemy ran, and the final word was
God rules from now on (what's that)
God rules from now on
