Leading worship using action songs

Firstly it’s important to acknowledge that children of all ages really can worship. Psalm 8 verse 2 says “From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise…”. How amazing is that! God wants children of all ages to praise and worship him. Our job is to help them do just that. What a privilege!

We journey with children in worship. To see children go deep in their worship takes time. Some children have very short attention spans and unless what we do at the start of the journey is fun and engaging, there’s every chance they won’t get on board with us. That’s where action songs are good – they help the children get on board.

Have fun! Go for it!
